One of my greatest joy on mission is to receive a phone call after travelling for a long-distance, tired from Ogoni back to Port Harcourt and then receiving a phone call from my parents informing me of their new assignment as full-time missionaries like me and that Dad will be presiding the Congo Mbuji-Mayi mission, wow I was tired but the news gave me strength. I know indeed not by my power neither of my parents that we will be successful in this mission through Jesus Christ help. And these are they that King Benjamin said "how beautiful upon the mountain are the feet of those that are publishing Good tidings of peace" Elder Lono(who served in Nigeria Port Harcourt Mission

LANGUAGE "She heard me talking to my language and she got interest to talk to me" Throughout my first year on mission, I have been finding it difficult to find people to teach by myself, I preferred receiving referrals from members and they are the one to introduce me to those people I have to share the restored gospel, the work has been working with me in that aspect and many of the people who were converted at that time are the fruit of the members referrals, as I have received a call of transfer to a different place, things changed people were difficult to approach in fact I was the one fearing to approach them, after observing for a while, I noticed that things will not work for me if I will continue like this meaning staying without my ability to talk to people, here is what came to my mind as I was pondering about this matter. I said to myself Elder Lono, you can't share this wonderful message except you find someone to teach, talki

They came to shower blessings in our mission, my beloved mission President said during the leadership council on monday, such a word from President Engmann motivated me to be more ready to receive those blessings from the servant of the Lord. Introduction  by President and Sister Engmann Elder and Sister Martinez They  came on Monday we met and on Tuesday, we had a multi zone conference that Elder Martinez the presiding officer and I, Elder Lono(for the very first time) conducted as it was said before here. They instructed us with power and authority from God. Sister Martinez instruction was based on 3 things 1.Having a vision 2.Setting Goals 3Planning Much was recorded. Hmmm very fluent English Elder Martinez was very brief Much has been recorded but not here  He taught about how to help people make and keep commitment, warning us not to be as the Pharisees(do, I don't do). I know that Jesus truly is my eternal Redeemer, the son of the living God
